These effects are determined by a combination of Team Chemistry and Individual Player Chemistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The attributes that Chemistry modifies are determined by the applied Chemistry Style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Players in the starting 11:<\/strong> 25% from Team Chemistry and 75% from Individual Player Chemistry.<\/li><li><strong>Player who comes on as a substitute:<\/strong> Substitutes are assigned a Static Individual Player Chemistry of 5. That means their individual Chemistry is 25% from Team Chemistry and 75% from their Static Individual Player Chemistry of 5.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This means that while substitutes benefit from being in a team with high Chemistry, they won\u2019t get the effects of Individual Player Chemistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to calculate the effects of Chemistry on Player attributes*<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s the formula:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(Team Chemistry x .25) + ((Player Chemistry x 10) x .75)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If the sum is greater than 50, Players\u2019 attributes that are affected by the active Chemistry Style start to improve towards their maximum value.<\/li><li>If the boost from this value would increase a Player&#8217;s attributes above 99, the boost will cap at 99.<\/li><li>If the sum is 50, the number is neutral and there will be no change to the Player\u2019s base attributes from the active Chemistry style.<\/li><li>If the sum is 49 or lower, the Players\u2019 attributes are reduced by the negative modifier towards the attribute minimum of 1.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Here\u2019s an example of what this could be for a player in the starting 11 with 100 Team Chemistry and 10 Player Chemistry:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Team Chemistry x .25) + ((Player Chemistry x 10) x .75)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">= (100 x .25) + ((10 x 10) x .75)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">= 25 + 75<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">= 100<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you get this number, plug it into the individual attributes formula to see how changes to individual attributes are calculated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">100 &#8211; 50 = 50<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">50\/50 = 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 x (max boost value) = attribute change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Here\u2019s an example of a substitute with 100 Team Chemistry (and 5 Static Individual Chemistry):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Team Chemistry x .25) + ((Player Chemistry x 10) x .75)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(100 x .25) + ((5 x 10) x .75)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">= 25 + 37.5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">= 62.5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you get this number, plug it into the individual attributes formula to see how changes to individual attributes are calculated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">62.5 &#8211; 50 = 12.5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">12.5\/50 = .25<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">.25 x (max boost value) = attribute change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>*In some rare instances, there will be a minor variation of the exact attribute value received by a Player due to the effects of how each console&#8217;s processor handles floating point operations prior to the application of Chemistry.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are the Chemistry styles?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each Chemistry Style has its own unique icon. You can see this icon directly beneath the Player in the primary view and identify the exact Chemistry Style applied to any Player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fifaultimateteam.it\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/learn-about-fut-chemistry-styles.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11638\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, if the Sniper Chemistry Style is applied to a Player with 10 Player Chemistry and 100 Team Chemistry, each of the Player&#8217;s Shooting attributes get different boosts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>5 points to Positioning.<\/li><li>15 points to Finishing.<\/li><li>10 points to Volleys.<\/li><li>15 points to Penalties.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not every attribute receives a boost: Shot Power and Long Shots remain the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Viewing a Player\u2019s Chemistry<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Changes in individual Player chemistry can now be viewed in the <strong>Attributes<\/strong> section of a Player&#8217;s bio when he&#8217;s in a squad.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From a Player\u2019s bio, you can navigate to the <strong>Attribute Details<\/strong> tab to see the exact changes that will be applied in game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also see the unmodified base Player attributes on this screen. Next to the unmodified attribute, you\u2019ll see either a <strong>plus sign (+)<\/strong> or <strong>minus sign (\u2013)<\/strong>, which shows how Chemistry will change the Player\u2019s attributes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the example below, you can see that Hazard has an 84 Finishing base rating, but it improves to a 93 rating in-game because of Individual Chemistry and the Marksman Chemistry Style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fifaultimateteam.it\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/learn-about-fut-chemistry-positive.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11639\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other hand, players who are in poor Chemistry situations will see a negative effect on their Chemistry here. In the below example, Hazard gets a negative ratings boost because of his Chemistry situation: his base Finishing rating is still 84, but his poor Chemistry reduces it by seven points to a 77 rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fifaultimateteam.it\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/learn-about-fut-chemistry-negative-v2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11640\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Chemistry in-game<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once a FUT match has started, team management has no effect on Chemistry. This includes (but is not limited to) formation and position changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FIFA 20<\/strong> is available from September 27, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC,  Nintendo Switch.
