{"id":12011,"date":"2019-10-31T13:39:37","date_gmt":"2019-10-31T13:39:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fifaultimateteam.it\/en\/?p=12011"},"modified":"2019-10-31T13:39:39","modified_gmt":"2019-10-31T13:39:39","slug":"fifa-20-next-editions-of-fifa-enations-cup-and-fifa-eclub-world-cup-on-the-road-to-the-fifa-eworld-cup-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fifaultimateteam.it\/en\/fifa-20-next-editions-of-fifa-enations-cup-and-fifa-eclub-world-cup-on-the-road-to-the-fifa-eworld-cup-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"FIFA 20: Next editions of FIFA eNations Cup and FIFA eClub World Cup on the Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>New qualification process for the FIFA eNations Cup will \nprovide players with the chance to compete in domestic events hosted by \nFIFA\u2019s member associations<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Application phase for FIFA eClub World Cup online qualification now open for all teams via<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/efootball.fifa.gg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fifa.gg<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>FIFA eWorld Cup confirmed for July 2020<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series, which is anticipated \nto attract tens of millions of players from more than 60 countries \nonline and at many live events, FIFA has confirmed the return of the \nFIFA eNations Cup\u2122 and the FIFA eClub World Cup\u2122.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two events will be part of the nine-month competitive Road to the\n FIFA eWorld Cup\u2122 2020 which will also feature an increased number of \ntournaments to give even more competitors a path to the competition, and\n subsequently the amount of eSports broadcast content fans can enjoy. \nPlayers and teams can look forward to competing for a prize pool of at \nleast $3 million across the EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series tournaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To qualify for the eWorld Cup, competitors must earn enough EA SPORTS\n FIFA 20 Global Series Ranking Points through their performances at \nmarquee live events, which players can qualify for through online \ncompetitions. The top 128 (64 per platform) in the Global Series \nRankings <a href=\"https:\/\/fifa.gg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on FIFA.gg<\/a> will \nget one more opportunity to earn points at the EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global \nSeries Playoffs. Then, the top 32 competitors in the Rankings after the \nplayoffs will advance to the FIFA eWorld Cup\u2122 where the EA SPORTS FIFA \n20 World Champion will be crowned. The FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final, the \npinnacle event of competitive FIFA, will take place in July 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of eight major tournaments will provide competitors with the \nmaximum amount of points ahead of the playoffs in order to qualify for \nthe eWorld Cup at the end of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the six FUT Champions Cups organized by EA, FIFA will \nonce more host the FIFA eNations Cup and the FIFA eClub World Cup:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>FIFA eClub World Cup<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FIFA\u2019s official club team competition is back for the fourth time and\n the world\u2019s best teams in competitive FIFA will compete for the title, \nbattling it out against rivals in a unique format including 1v1 and 2v2 \nmatchups from 7 to 9 February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, FIFA is excited to introduce a tiered online qualification\n over six-weeks -making this the biggest club team competition on the \nRoad the FIFA eWorld Cup 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The qualification phase will provide a team-based 1v1 qualification  process for all clubs around the world. Interested teams are invited to register on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/efootball.fifa.gg\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> by 07 November 2019 2.30 PM Zurich time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More information on the qualification format for the FIFA eClub World Cup 2020 can be found <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fifa.com\/news\/fifa-eclub-world-cup-returns\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>FIFA eNations Cup<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With national pride and global glory at stake, FIFA\u2019s official \ninter-nation competition will feature the world\u2019s best nations in EA \nSPORTS FIFA 20 in its second edition after the inaugural event in 2019. \nThe best eNational teams on the planet will represent their country in \n2v2 matchups from 22 to 24 May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All eligible nations will be able to create an official national team\n in order to take part in the qualification phase, offering players more\n opportunities to participate via domestic events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christian Volk, Director eFootball &amp; Gaming at FIFA commented: \n&#8220;Representing a club and competing for national pride on the biggest \nstage is not only something truly special for the players but also \ndrives huge excitement and emotions among fans, clubs and our member \nassociations. Involving more clubs and more nations this year will \nresult in the highest quality of team competitions we have ever seen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added: \u201cTeaming up with other world-class FIFA players will \nprovide participants with a unique way to compete and will undoubtedly \ncreate season climaxes for competitors and spectators. We are looking \nforward to welcoming the world\u2019s best EA SPORTS FIFA nations and clubs \nat our tournaments in 2020 and witnessing history together with them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>FIFA eWorld Cup<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pinnacle event of the Global Series will take place in July 2020 where the EA SPORTS FIFA 20 champion will be crowned. The world\u2019s best  32 FIFA players will go head-to-head at competitive FIFA\u2019s biggest event  and compete for the sport\u2019s top prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FIFA 20<\/strong> is available from September 27, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC,  Nintendo Switch.
