{"id":15437,"date":"2020-02-25T16:18:24","date_gmt":"2020-02-25T16:18:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fifaultimateteam.it\/en\/?p=15437"},"modified":"2020-02-25T16:19:40","modified_gmt":"2020-02-25T16:19:40","slug":"fifa-20-the-vice-president-of-colocolo-admits-that-there-is-a-problem-with-conmebol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fifaultimateteam.it\/en\/fifa-20-the-vice-president-of-colocolo-admits-that-there-is-a-problem-with-conmebol\/","title":{"rendered":"FIFA 20: The Vice President of Colo Colo admits that there is a problem with Conmebol"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the last few hours the persistent rumor from <strong>Brazil <\/strong>of a likely exclusion of <strong>Colo Colo<\/strong> from <strong>Copa Libertadores<\/strong> has created many discontent among supporters of the Chilean club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rumors that created this chaos would be the exclusivity contracts that some clubs in <strong>South America<\/strong> have signed with <strong>Konami <\/strong>(including <strong>Colo Colo<\/strong>), the software house producing <strong>Pro Evolution Soccer<\/strong> and rival of <strong>EA Sports<\/strong> producing the <strong>FIFA series<\/strong> (owners of the Copa Libertadores 2020 rights).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the end, <strong>Colo Colo<\/strong> denied these rumors through <strong>Harold Mayne-Nicholls<\/strong>, the club&#8217;s executive vice president, who said the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;For about a month our lawyers have been in constant contact with Conmebol, since we have a contract with Konami while the league has a contract with another company that produces a football video game, EA Sports. It is true there is a problem , but our participation in the Libertadores Cup is not at risk. We will follow in the footsteps of the Brazilian clubs, because they too have a contract with Konami and it is clear that they have more experience regarding this type of problem. &#8220;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FIFA 20<\/strong> is available from September 27, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC,  Nintendo Switch.
