Apparently the disservices, which have followed for several days, could have been caused by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fifaultimateteam.it\/en\/fifa-20-lizard-squad-claims-attack-against-ea-sports-servers\/\">DDoS attacks by the <strong>Lizard Squad<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This situation did not cause problems only to normal gamers but also to professionals who tried to play international qualifying tournaments for the <strong>FUT Champions Cup Stage V<\/strong>, and at some point the situation became unsustainable so much so that the Pro Players decided to play to Rock, Paper, Scissors to proclaim the winner and get the pass for the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two protagonists of the story have expressed their disappointment through social media which obviously has given rise to a series of hilarious and surreal comments from the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter aligncenter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I cannot believe it !! @EASPORTSFIFA <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EAFIFADirect?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@EAFIFADirect<\/a>  We literally had to play a rock paper scissors becauce we couldn\u2019t find each other to invite in an EA LICENSED QUALIFIER . For context, a double-failure to connect and compete in a qualifying tournament match results in a loss for both participants. This is to prevent connection issues from being exploited as a competitive advantage. It&#8217;s important to note &#8220;Rock, Paper, Scissors&#8221; did not eliminate either player from the competition as both competed in subsequent matches but did not advance in the tournament. We&#8217;re reviewing this really unique situation to understand what occurred and try to prevent this from happening again, especially as both competitors competed in subsequent matches with clean connections.<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In conclusion, we can say that the story was not only caused by server problems but above all by regulation and organization of the entire event still far from perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FIFA 20<\/strong> is available from September 27, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC,  Nintendo Switch.
