20: Disciplinary Update 29th May &#8211; Committee Rulings"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>EA <\/strong>release a new Disciplinary update:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By registering to compete in the <em>EA SPORTS FIFA 20<\/em> Global Series, competitors agree to the <em>EA SPORTS FIFA 20<\/em> Global Series Rules, which include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u201cAs a FUT Champions Verified player, competitors may be held to a \nhigher standard than other players, and may face higher levels of \npenalties than they would otherwise.\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Competitors must meet the standard of conduct that is reflected in our <em>EA SPORTS FIFA 20<\/em> Global Series Rules and Code of Conduct.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>EA SPORTS FIFA 20<\/em> Global Series Rules and Code of Conduct \nallow for disciplinary action on players determined to be in violation \nper Section 3.10:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>\u201cAny Player may be disqualified immediately from the EA SPORTS \nFIFA Global Series and further competitions, at the discretion of EA or \nits designees, for any reason, including for any failure to comply with \nthe User Agreement, Privacy &amp; Cookie Policy, Code of Conduct (see \nAppendix A).\u201d Further, the Penalties section of the Code of Conduct \nallows for punishment up to and including Disqualification from the EA \nSPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series and future competitions.<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Code of Conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following cases are receiving disciplinary action for Code of Conduct violations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BBQ Shaq also known as Official Bullock<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Penalty:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One year suspension from the <em>EA SPORTS FIFA<\/em> Global Series &#8212; effective immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consequences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ineligible for all <em>EA SPORTS FIFA<\/em> Global Series competitive events<\/li><li>Removed from <em>EA SPORTS FIFA 20<\/em> Global Series Rankings<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Explanation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Disqualified in response to behaviour toward an opponent during the ePremier League Burnley Club Playoffs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Specifically, the <em>EA SPORTS FIFA 20<\/em> Global Series Code of Conduct violations for which the player is being disqualified is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u201cHarassing, threatening, bullying, engaging in hate speech, \nrepeatedly sending unwanted messages, or making personal attacks or \nstatements about race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, \netc.;\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Girona Angelito<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Penalty:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One qualifier suspension from the <em>EA SPORTS FIFA<\/em> Global Series<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consequences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ineligible for the next official qualifier of the <em>EA SPORTS FIFA <\/em>Global Series<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Explanation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Disqualified in response to language used during an online broadcast<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Specifically, the <em>EA SPORTS FIFA 20<\/em> Global Series Code of Conduct violations for which the player is being disqualified is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u201cPublishing, posting, uploading or distributing content, or \norganizing\/participating in any activity, group or guild that EA (acting\n reasonably and objectively) determines is inappropriate, abusive, \nhateful, harassing, profane, defamatory, threatening, obscene, sexually \nexplicit, infringing, privacy-invasive, vulgar, offensive, indecent or \nunlawful;\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>JohnnyGrime88<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Penalty:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ineligible for the next official qualifier of the <em>EA SPORTS FIFA <\/em>Global Series<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Explanation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Disqualified in response to language used toward an opponent during the FUT Champions Cup Stage V online qualifier<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Specifically, the <em>EA SPORTS FIFA 20<\/em> Global Series Code of Conduct violations for which the player is being disqualified is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul FUT Champions Cup Stage V online qualifier for competitive advantage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Specifically, the <em>EA SPORTS FIFA 20<\/em> Global Series Code of Conduct violations for which the player is being disqualified is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u201cInterfering with or disrupting another player&#8217;s participation in the
