{"id":23093,"date":"2020-11-25T09:23:29","date_gmt":"2020-11-25T09:23:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fifaultimateteam.it\/en\/?p=23093"},"modified":"2020-11-25T09:53:15","modified_gmt":"2020-11-25T09:53:15","slug":"fifa-21-official-statement-is-an-attempt-to-engage-fifa-in-a-dispute-between-a-series-of-third-parties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fifaultimateteam.it\/en\/fifa-21-official-statement-is-an-attempt-to-engage-fifa-in-a-dispute-between-a-series-of-third-parties\/","title":{"rendered":"FIFA 21: Official Statement EA Sports &#8220;Is an attempt to engage FIFA in a dispute between a series of third parties&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>EA Sports<\/strong>, after the doubts expressed by the attacker <strong>Zlatan Ibrahimovic<\/strong>, has released an official statement that apparently did not convince <strong>Mino Raiola<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agent of the Swedish, through the social twitter, declared that neither <strong>FIFPRO<\/strong> nor <strong>AC Milan<\/strong> have the image rights of the players and continued arguing that <strong>EA Sports is certainly aware of this<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;<strong>FifPro<\/strong> and <strong>AC Milan<\/strong> do not have players individual rights as I\u2019m sure you know and as we\u2019ve told you many times&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This morning, in the editorial office via email, we received an official statement released by <strong>EA SPORTS<\/strong> which, unequivocally, confirms that they have the rights to include the faces of all the players currently present in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below is the <strong>official communication<\/strong> from <strong>EA Sports<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;Regarding the recent discussions on player licensing in <strong>EA SPORTS FIFA<\/strong>, what is happening on social media is an attempt to engage <strong>FIFA 21<\/strong> in a dispute between a series of <strong>third parties<\/strong> that has little to do with <strong>EA SPORTS<\/strong>.<br>To be extremely clear, we have the contractual rights to include the faces of all players currently in our game. As stated above, we <strong>acquire <\/strong>these licenses directly from <strong>leagues<\/strong>, <strong>teams <\/strong>and <strong>individual players<\/strong>.
