The FIFA Senior Game Designer<\/strong> Gilliard Lopes,<\/strong> during his usual podcast, released some interesting statements regarding the new football simulator of EA Sports FIFA 22<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Q&A<\/strong> with the FIFA community<\/strong>, one of the fans of the series asked for previews on the new chapter and the response of the head of the South American division was the following: “FIFA <\/strong>on Next Gen<\/strong> has already been released and we know that you are a little disappointed , but FIFA 22<\/strong> will surprise you. At the moment I can’t tell you more. “<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That FIFA 22<\/strong> would have been developed entirely for the PlayStation 5<\/strong> and Xbox Series X | S <\/strong>platforms was obvious to everyone, but according to Gilliard’s<\/strong> statement it seems that the Canadian software house has focused all its development resources on Next Gen<\/strong> to ensure a astounding gaming experience to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this point what should you expect from FIFA 22 Old Gen<\/strong>? It will be a game very similar to the Next Gen version <\/strong>with some downgrades as already happened in the previous editions between one generation and another, or it will be a completely different game from the PS5<\/strong> and Xbox Series X | S<\/strong> version with only some improvements compared to FIFA 21<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EA Sports shouldn’t have neglected the old gen<\/strong> a lot for two important reasons: The first<\/strong> is linked to the huge fan base that is continuing to play on PS4 <\/strong>which still guarantees a high number of copies sold. The second<\/strong>, perhaps less important but still relevant, is that the PS5<\/strong>, almost a year after marketing, are still hard to find.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EA Play<\/strong> is almost upon us, all that remains is to wait for the event scheduled for next 22 July<\/strong><\/a> to have confirmations on the advances released by the Senior Game Designer<\/strong> of EA Sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
