By now there are many titles in the FIFA <\/strong>series that we have tried in preview and we can say that FIFA 22<\/strong> is the real first chapter of the series that has been developed to move more decisively towards a Real Simulation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIFA 22 has been entirely developed using the power of the next-generation<\/strong> PlayStation 5 <\/strong>and Xbox Series X | S<\/strong> consoles and the difference with its predecessor is enormous. The gameplay <\/strong>has been revolutionized thanks to the use of new technologies such as HyperMotion <\/strong>and Advanced 11v11 Match Capture<\/strong> which made it possible to collect and use all the details of every single movement made by 22 professional footballers who have collaborated with EA Sports.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the Advanced 11vs11 Match Capture<\/strong>, shots were taken using over 8.7 million frames and allowed the introduction of over 4,000 new animations compared to the FIFA 21<\/strong> predecessor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pad in Hands<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The gameplay of FIFA 22 tu<\/strong>rns out to be very pleasant and simulative to the first tests. The pace of play has definitely dropped and the players’ movements are much more natural. The differences in the movements between the faster players and the more physically structured players turn out to be clear-cut. Pad in hand, the characteristics of each player are clearly perceptible. The physics of the ball are also very real, the rebounds and trajectories vary in contact with the pitch which tends to deteriorate as the game unfolds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game organization of the teams faithfully reflects the style of play that you want to put into practice. The 22 players tread the field I understand the spaces in a more decisive and balanced way, giving a considerable benefit to the choral game at the expense of individual plays that rarely manage to be effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movements of the departments are synchronized, to benefit from this new feature of the gameplay is above all the nerve area of the team. The midfield appears to be well organized and balanced with the AI-driven players changing their range based on the positioning of their teammates. In this way, the filter is more decisive as long as the characteristics of the players are congruent with their disposition on the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Structured and more cumbersome players are able to intercept and retrieve a much higher number of balls than players who do not have similar characteristics, at this moment deploying Rooney in midfield will not help you<\/strong>, on the contrary, it will penalize you enormously, leaving you at the mercy of the attacks of the opposing team. The same goes for the defensive department where the pace is no longer a determining parameter, the two central players with strong defensive characteristics will prove to be more effective. Improvised full-backs central defenders will make your team extremely vulnerable unlike what happened in FIFA 21<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The offensive plays turn out to be very elaborate and often only precise and rapid phrasing will allow you to get the better of the opponent’s defense. The skills are still effective as long as the use is appropriate to the game situation, an endless series of skills will not help you get the better of your opponent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the moment the only discordant note of the gameplay <\/strong>of FIFA 22 <\/strong>seems to concern only the Goalkeepers <\/strong>that we remember have been rewritten. Savings on shots from inside the box are as far-fetched as errors on Curved Shots from considerable distances. More balance would make this gameplay totally rewarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Revolution of FUT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most popular Game Mode in the series is undoubtedly FUT<\/strong>. The revolution of the Division Rivals<\/strong> and the FUT Champions Weekend League<\/strong> will guarantee hours and hours of play throughout the season to be able to earn the rich Rewards up for grabs in each season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new structure of the Division Rivals<\/strong> is the one that convinced us the most, this new organization allows you to climb the various Divisions in a more natural way and redeem countless Rewards. At the same time, EA Sports has solved a small problem that has angered several fans of the series in recent years. Thanks to the checkpoints located in the various divisions, it is no longer possible to move backwards in the divisions to be able to complete the objectives more easily, in this way each division has been levelled and less skilled players will no longer find themselves playing with gamers for up to a week before they were in Division 1<\/strong> and only demoted to complete objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we have anticipated, the FUT Champions Weekend League <\/strong>has also been revolutionized, it is now divided into a Play-Off <\/strong>phase and a Final Phase<\/strong> e and both guarantee rewards. In the Play-Off phase, you can only access by playing the Division Rivals<\/strong> and acquiring 1,500 points<\/strong>, once this points is reached you are entitled to participate in the Play-Offs in order to qualify for the Final Phase. This Phase will take place only on the weekend unlike the Play-Offs and it will be necessary to earn the greatest number of points made available by playing the 20 games provided by the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A development you convince that will surely make the FIFA 22 Ultimate Team mode extremely balanced and certainly more fun for everyone. A greater balance in both the Division Rivals and the FUT Champions League will guarantee everyone the possibility of being able to play exciting games and not having to face gamers more accustomed to competitive FIFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We create our own Club \u2026\u2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, we will finally be able to start our career mode adventure by creating our own club completely. An absolute novelty and long-awaited by fans of this Game Mode that will guarantee a variety of remarkable scenarios compared to the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The customization of the club is extremely deep, we will have several options available to make our club unique. We will be able to customize the name of the club, choose which competition to participate in and we will even be able to choose the arch-rivals of all time. Obviously, the customization can be enriched with the choice of one of the countless kits, with company colours, shapes and colours of the Logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the various options available we will also be able to decide whether to make our climb to the great stages of world football more difficult and captivating or whether to have a much easier path. In the customization process, we will also be able to choose the generic Overall Ratings<\/strong> of the club which will be fundamental as it will determine the overall of the initial players that we will find in the team (We know that you are thinking of Castolo and Miranda but it will not be them) and on the deployment. We will also be able to select the average age of the players that make up our team. All these changes will affect the players, the style of play and the initial form of the team. Of course, these aspects can be changed throughout the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To complete the customization there will also be the possibility to select various degrees of expectations of the management which obviously will affect your stay on the bench. With top club expectations, every home and away match will have a greater influence on management satisfaction while goals such as the growth of the youth sector and the club’s financial integrity will become extremely marginal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The combinations are really many and we are sure that everyone will be able to satisfy their needs. Participating in the UEFA Champions League<\/strong>, the UEFA Europa League<\/strong> or even the Conference National League<\/strong> with a club created by you will certainly make your experience with this mode more exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Volta Football <\/strong>mode has been overturned compared to past versions, EA Sports<\/strong> has created a point of recreation and relaxation where fun completely or almost completely obscures the competitive side that is present in every human being. The way of approaching this mode has changed radically, now everything is more simplified and even the less accustomed to the execution of the skills <\/strong>will be able to spend many hours playing this mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The introduction of the Skill Meter<\/strong> and Signature Abilities<\/strong> will help you enhance your playing style and make you unique compared to your friends and opponents on the pitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Skill Meter<\/strong> is an indicator that will fill up based on the skills you perform during the game and which will then allow you to take advantage of some bonuses. For example, the basis of the score reached each goal could be worth from 1 to 4 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Signature Abilities, on the other hand, will allow us to specifically modify the style of play of our avatar. We will be able to increase the effectiveness of shooting, agility, running or other technical characteristics, obviously, each boost can be used at certain times of the game and each will have different recovery and recharge times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that’s not all, in the development the Canadian software house has decided to introduce a series of minigames that you can enjoy alone or with your friends. In fact, on day one we will find eight mini-games some of which are already well known to football fans. Foot Tennis, Dodgeball, Wall Ball Elimination all with specific features that will make every game exciting and fun. Obviously, in order not to risk falling into monotony during the season, EA Sports will release new content that will enrich and vary the VOLTA Football videogame experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pro Cub \u2026\u2026. Mhhhh<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A mode that every year leaves a bit of a bad taste in the mouth for fans of this Game Mode. The introduction of female avatars and a reinterpretation of the game menus that make everything more immediate and intuitive may not be enough to appease the gamers’ desire for novelty. Years later, after having participated in many conferences behind closed doors, we have not yet been able to understand if EA Sports is still serious about developing and revolutionizing the Pro Club as well as has been done with all the other modalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graphics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The version on PS5<\/strong>, which we had the opportunity to try in preview, on a graphic level did not give us many surprises. The gap is clear compared to the version dedicated to the old generation console <\/strong>but we have not found great graphic improvements<\/strong>, lights <\/strong>and shadows <\/strong>compared to the Next Gen<\/strong> version of FIFA 21.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
