In addition to the usual prohibitions on <strong>buying <\/strong>or <strong>selling Coins <\/strong>or using <strong>Cheats<\/strong>, <strong>EA <\/strong>has specified that even the use of <strong>Third Party Apps<\/strong> or <strong>Browser Extensions<\/strong> to access the <strong>FIFA servers<\/strong> may result in the <strong>account<\/strong> being <strong>banned<\/strong>. This is bad news for all players who use extensions to track the price of their cards on the Market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HOW DO I PLAY BY THE RULES?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are a few rules that EA would like you to be aware of for FIFA so you and other players have the best experience. EA has these rules to keep things fun and fair for everyone that plays FIFA, and anyone that breaks them can get banned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IF YOU BREAK THE RULES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These actions are applied to your EA Account used to play FIFA, so some of these actions may affect your experience on multiple gaming platforms using the same EA Account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EA has rules in place because it wants FIFA to be a fair, fun, secure experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you break the rules,&nbsp;EA reserve the right to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Remove your account from the Leaderboards<\/li><li>Remove your FUT Coins<\/li><li>Delete your FUT Club<\/li><li>Temporarily or permanently ban your account from FIFA online play, which means you lose access to every mode where you connect to our servers. Examples of FIFA online play are (but not limited to) all of FUT, FIFA Pro Clubs, or VOLTA FOOTBALL.<\/li><li>Ban your account from your current FIFA game<\/li><li>Ban your account from all FIFA games<\/li><li>Ban you from all EA games<\/li><li>Suspend your console from playing FIFA online modes for a period of time<\/li><li>Restrict your access to the FUT Transfer Market<\/li><li>Restrict your access or in-game privileges in other ways.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">THE RULES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At EA believe in the power of positive play. Being part of a gaming community should be positive, fun, fair, and safe for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our&nbsp;Positive Play Charter&nbsp;is at the heart of our rules. Make sure to read the charter to understand those rules, and keep reading on to see how they apply to EA SPORTS FIFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Don&#8217;t distribute Coins<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coin distribution inflates the FIFA economy. That means disrupting the safe buying and selling environment that legitimate players are trying to use to get the players they need for their Ultimate Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And yes\u2014sending FUT Coins to your friend is a form of Coin distribution and it breaks our rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It breaks our rules if you use the FUT Transfer Market to transfer Coins to another player, rather than to get a FUT Item legitimately to use in your Club. This could mean that you complete the purchase of a FUT Item for the purpose of transferring Coins from your account to another account, or that you sold a FUT Item to another account for the purpose of transferring the Coins to your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each FUT Item has a minimum and maximum Coin price that it can be put on the Transfer Market for, and the average Coin price for an Item fluctuates depending on overall demand for the player. Transferring FUT Coins by trying to sell or buy Items well above or below their average Coin price, either to your friends or to sell Coins to anyone, is against our rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Giveaways are another form of Coin distribution. For example, if a player or site offers you FUT Coins in exchange for subscribing. Don\u2019t do it! It\u2019s against our rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having multiple accounts and funneling FUT Coins and Items to your main account breaks our rules, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Don&#8217;t buy Coins<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Buying Coins from a third-party is against our rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can earn FUT Coins by playing FUT and selling FUT Items within the Transfer Market, but you can\u2019t purchase FUT Coins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few ways to earn FUT Coins are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>playing matches in Ultimate Team<\/li><li>earning rewards in modes like Rivals and Squad Battles<\/li><li>selling Items for a fair price on the Transfer Market.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Buying or selling Coins creates an uneven playing field because, among other things, it can result in an unfair increase in prices of Items on the Transfer Market. This can take away the opportunity to buy affordable Items on the Transfer Market from users who earned their Coins legitimately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using the Transfer Market for the purpose of transferring Coins is against the rules and can put your account at risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you buy Coins, you\u2019re at risk for having your account information stolen by phishers. Some Coin sellers need account login information to give out Coins, so they can just as easily remove players and Coins from your account, too. Then they\u2019ll turn around and make a profit off of the Items they steal and hack someone else. Help keep your account safe and don\u2019t give your login information to anyone, especially not to buy FUT Coins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Buying \u201cmule\u201d accounts or performing comfort trades are not allowed. These things are against our rules because they have a negative impact on the game economy, and they damage gameplay for you and other players. When in doubt, don\u2019t do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using the FUT Transfer Market for Coin Distribution (including Coin buying) hurts the experience for other players. If you\u2019re using the FUT Transfer Market to distribute FUT Coins, EA may need to reduce your ability to negatively impact the player experience for others. This includes limiting or reducing your access to the FUT Transfer Market both via the Companion App and from your console or PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Don&#8217;t connect to EA Servers using anything other than EA Web or Companion apps or an unmodified platform<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can only access FIFA, FIFA Ultimate Team, and our FIFA servers using an official version of EA SPORTS FIFA, otherwise it breaks our rules. An official version is one that you bought from EA or an authorized retailer. You must also use either an unmodified platform or the official FUT Web and FUT Companion Apps to avoid breaking our rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An unmodified platform is a console or PC that no one has adjusted or added anything to that would change the way it functions. In other words, the console must work the way it did when it came out of the box from an authorized retailer, and the PC does not have any software running to modify the game or the game\u2019s interactions with EA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you share your credentials with someone who is using a modified platform, that breaks our rules too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EA doesn\u2019t want you to use third-party apps and browser extensions because it puts your account at risk. When you use these third-party apps and browser extensions, your login info can be visible to third parties and someone could use that info to take over your account. Browser extensions can capture your passwords, track your web browsing, insert ads into web pages you visit, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Don&#8217;t use auto-buyers<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you use any sort of in-game bots, like auto-buyers, so you can earn Coins fast and illegitimately, that\u2019s breaking the rules.&nbsp;Making transactions outside of in-game, the Companion App, or the Web App or playing in an unauthorized way that gives you an unfair advantage hurts the experience for you and other players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Don&#8217;t promote Coin buying and selling<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Promoting the sale or purchase of Coins anywhere within our games or forums breaks our rules. Coin distribution breaks our rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Don&#8217;t farm Coins<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coin farming is when you get Coins fast and illegitimately, either by using bots in the FUT Transfer Market or by tricking the game into thinking you\u2019re playing matches when you aren\u2019t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you store a lot of Coins in your account, that\u2019s totally cool, as long as you\u2019re earning those Coins the right way in-game. Using any sort of bot or disconnection methods in-game, that\u2019s breaking the rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a><\/a>7. Don&#8217;t make false claims<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Making a false claim to EA Advisors or any other EA representative is against our gameplay rules, and it\u2019s not cool. Breaking the rules makes it hard to provide a fun, safe, and secure environment for you and all players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8. Don&#8217;t hack other players&#8217; accounts<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It might seem like a no-brainer, but accessing another player\u2019s account is totally and completely against the rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>9. Don&#8217;t cheat in-game<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cheating can include, but isn\u2019t limited to, using external tools, performing in-game exploits, abusing glitches or bugs, performing, using, buying, or selling match collusion, matchmaking manipulation, or win manipulation services. In-game cheating is not fair play and hurts the experience for the players you are playing against.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FIFA 23<\/strong> is available from <strong>September 30th <\/strong>on <strong>PlayStation 5<\/strong>,<strong> Xbox Series X<\/strong>, <strong>PlayStation 4<\/strong>, <strong>Xbox One<\/strong>, <strong>PC<\/strong>, <strong>Steam <\/strong>and <strong>Nintendo Switch<\/strong>.
