Three players each from Man City<\/strong> and Liverpool plus Eden Hazard<\/strong> have been nominated for the 2018\/19 award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seven players have been nominated for the EA SPORTS Player of the Season<\/strong> ( POTS <\/strong>) award for 2018\/19<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans can vote for their favourite on the EA SPORTS website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The votes of the public are combined with those of the 20 club captains and a panel of football experts to decide the winner, who will be announced later this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner will receive a dedicated card for FIFA 19 Ultimate Team mode and will be redeemable by completing the dedicated Squad Building Challenges, which will be made available in the coming days by EA Sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sergio Aguero\u00a0(MCI)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The striker became only the second player in PL history to score 20+ goals in five consecutive seasons as he provided the firepower behind Manchester City\u2019s bid to retain the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eden Hazard\u00a0(CHE)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The\n winger has been directly involved in more goals this season than anyone\n else. Ahead of the final weekend as well as scoring 16, he has provided\n a league-leading 15 assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadio Mane\u00a0(LIV)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The\n forward has enjoyed his best scoring campaign. Thirteen of his 20 \ngoals, none of which were penalties, have come in the second half of the\n season to keep Liverpool hot on the tails of Man City in a pulsating \ntitle race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohamed Salah\u00a0(LIV)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Last season\u2019s winner is aiming to be the first player to retain the award since Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a> in 2007\/08. The Liverpool forward\u2019s 22 goals are the most in the PL as he also chases back-to-back Golden Boots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bernardo Silva\u00a0(MCI)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The 24-year-old has summed up Man City\u2019s free-flowing yet resilient football. The midfielder scored important goals in wins at Arsenal and Manchester United and weighed in with 159 recoveries and 48 tackles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raheem Sterling\u00a0(MCI)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

One of only three players to reach double figures for both goals and assists. The 24-year-old\u2019s 17 goals include a hat-trick and three braces, leading his manager Pep Guardiola to describe him as “magnificent”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virgil van Dijk(LIV)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The Dutchman has transformed Liverpool\u2019s defence. Their 22 goals conceded are the joint-lowest, with Van Dijk also scoring four himself. Playing all but five minutes, he has yet to be dribbled past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
