PlayStyle:<\/strong> Performs foot saves faster and with extended reach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gameplay effects &#8211; PlayStyle+<\/strong>: Performs foot saves more quickly with even greater reach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rush Out<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Who Has It<\/strong>: A goalkeeper who is known to often challenge attackers head-on in 1v1 situations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gameplay effects &#8211; PlayStyle<\/strong>: Able to perform throws with increased speed and distance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gameplay effects &#8211; PlayStyle+<\/strong>: Able to perform throws with greater speed and distance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goalkeeper position has received several improvements in <strong>EA SPORTS FC 25<\/strong>, from Goalkeeper Movement to the new Rush to Contain mechanic.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Goalkeeper Movement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Goalkeepers can only be manually moved <strong>1-2 steps<\/strong> in any direction, with a short cooldown period after use to prevent this move from being overused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In summary:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Adjustment made to Goalkeeper Movement, allowing only 1-2 steps to set themselves up for a save in that direction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Goalkeeper will return to base position after a short delay<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Goalkeeper will also have a short cooldown between GK movements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Animation Refresh<\/strong>: New and refreshed animations for Leg Saves, Kick Saves, Diving Saves, and Punch Saves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During set pieces like corner kicks and free kicks, the Goalkeeper&#8217;s manual movement will function as it has previously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Goalkeeper Rush<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>EA SPORTS FC 25<\/strong>, we are adding a new type of <strong>Goalkeeper Rush<\/strong> to the player&#8217;s toolkit. This new mechanic will have the goalkeeper rush out and close the distance to the attacking player but remain a distance away from them to close down the shooting angle.
