Among the most important changes is undoubtedly the introduction of a new system designed to reward players who are consistent and play fairly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In EA FC 26, if you’re in a match where the score is still level and, for any reason, your opponent decides to leave the game, you’ll now automatically be awarded the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that\u2019s not the only case.<\/strong> If your opponent chooses to quit the match by closing the game through their platform\u2019s dashboard, you\u2019ll still be granted the win. Last year, when a penalty was awarded, toxic players often exploited a bug that allowed them to quit the match without awarding the victory to their opponent. Now, this kind of behaviour will also result in a win for the player who remained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, one unclear situation still remains.<\/strong> Some of the most toxic players might try to turn off their console completely to quit the game, without going through the dashboard or properly exiting the match. In this specific case, the Ultimate Team servers might not register the quit, and as a result, may not award the victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, the Canadian studio has yet to clarify whether this scenario will also guarantee a win for the player left behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
