For a few weeks, the rumor concerning the absence of Serie B BKT ( Calcio B ) from the official roster of the new chapter of the Electronic Arts FIFA 21 football simulator has been incessant.
In July, some of the most popular youtubers, who are part of the Game Changers program, had the opportunity to test a first build of FIFA 21 and immediately the absence of Serie B from the menus jumped to the eye.
Last week, the Canadian software house released the closed beta that was only distributed to a few lucky fans of the series. Unfortunately, the confirmation of the absence of the second Italian league from the menus has arrived with the sole presence of the Empoli and Chievo clubs that have been included in the Rest of the World.
At the moment the most accredited hypotheses are two:
- The first is that EA Sports has decided to exclude Serie B from the roster as it does not have an official license. In previous years he had instead chosen to insert it with fictitious Names and Badges.
- The second hypothesis is that the league in question has been excluded from the beta as the championship ended only on Thursday 20 August and without a well-defined roster EA may have decided not to insert anything in order not to have bureaucratic problems for the use of licenses.
At this point, all that remains is to wait for an official statement from EA Sports to be able to understand which of the two hypotheses has actually been taken into consideration.
