EA FC 26 has just unveiled the trailer for its free update dedicated to the upcoming World Cup, which is scheduled to go live tomorrow, Thursday 4 June.

The trailer delivers a strong emotional punch, capturing the excitement and drama that make the World Cup the biggest tournament in world football. A number of high-profile players were involved in the project, including some who were surprisingly left out of their national squads by their respective head coaches.

One of the most notable appearances comes from Cole Palmer. Although he will be watching the tournament from the comfort of his home rather than taking part on the pitch, the England star makes it clear that he is fully behind his international teammates.

When it comes to accessing the transfer market via the Web App and Companion App, things get a bit more complicated. We’ve covered all the details in the official guide published on our pages.

Zlatan Ibrahimović also features in the video. In one scene, he is seen reading a newspaper that mentions Spain‘s national team. According to a simulation carried out using EA FC 26, La Roja are tipped to go all the way and lift the World Cup trophy, bringing it back to Europe.

The only thing left to do now is sit back and enjoy the tournament, while waiting to see whether EA Sports’ prediction proves accurate once the action unfolds on the pitch.

In addition, the PTG Path To Glory has already been leaked, with the full list of players available at the following link.
