EA Sports, through a short note appeared on social media, has announced the Official Release Date of the FIFA 21 football simulator for the new generation platforms PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S.

What happens if I play FIFA 21 on a next generation console before December 4th?
For players that boot up FIFA 21 on next generation consoles in this time period, they will be experiencing the backward compatible versions of FIFA 21, with performance comparable to PS4 Pro (if playing on PS5), Xbox One S (if playing on Xbox Series S), and Xbox One X (if playing on Xbox Series X). This is the current generation version of the game, including all features and functionality. The next generation experience of FIFA 21 will be experienced from December 4th.
The Canadian software house has collaborated with Sony and Microsoft to make the Dual Entitlement service available to the community thanks to which the owners of FIFA 21 for PS4 and Xbox One, starting from 4 December, will be able to receive the product for the Next Gen consoles for free.
In addition, thanks to the Dual Entitlement service, some advances obtained on the platforms of current generations can be transferred to the new consoles, in particular the contents of the popular FIFA 21 Ultimate Team mode, of the Volta Football mode.
