FIFA 21: Official EA Sports statement on the death of FC Seoul player Kim Nam Chun

After the tragic death of South Korean FC Seoul defender Kim Nam Chun, EA Sports has released a statement to inform the community about the decision made with the club.

Below is the official press release disclosed by the Canadian software house through the game menus of the FIFA 21 football simulator.

We are saddened by the passing of Kim Nam Chun.

To respectfully honor his legacy, we will be taking the following actions:

• • Kim Nam Chun will be removed from FC Seoul in FIFA.
• • Kim Nam Chun FUT items will no longer be available in packs.
• • Kim Nam Chun’s FUT items price ranges will be permanently fixed at their current value.

We again send our sincerest sympathies to his family, FC Seoul, and his fans all around the world.
