The social “war” between Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and EA Sports, regarding image rights and the use of the names and faces of players in the FIFA series, does not seem to want to calm down.
According to the last twitter of the Swedish striker, it seems that both FIFPro and Milan have never signed contracts to sell the image rights to the Canadian software house. These statements contrast with what the companies have declared in official press releases.
The story is getting complicated. Why did Ibrahimovic through social media say that FIFPro and AC Milan have not entered into agreements with EA Sports when the International Federation of Professional Footballers through the pages of The Telegraph has released statements stating the opposite?
Is it a coincidence that the Swede has decided to reply to the declarations of the Canadian software house a few minutes after the presentation of the Icon cards of the English midfielder David Beckham?
