EA Sports through the game menus has announced that the FUT Champions Weekend League of the popular FIFA 21 Ultimate Team mode will end with the last competition on September 17th.
After 40 FUT Champions Weekend League, we announce that the competition on September 27th will officially close the FIFA 21 season.
What does this mean?
FUT Champions in FIFA 21 goes offline to prepare for the new season in FIFA 22. This means that you will no longer be able to play FUT Champions Weekend League in FIFA 21 from September 26th. You can still enjoy all the other FIFA 21 Ultimate Team content.
With the Launch of FIFA 22, we’ll be kicking off a brand new FUT Champions experience and look forward to seeing you there.
In order to ensure that the end of active FUT Champions competitions doesn’t prevent players from being able to unlock associated trophies/achievements, we have setup a FUT Champions event in the distant future, so that you can still qualify to it and unlock the associated trophies/achievements. This event is not intended to ever be played
