Through the usual weekly appointment on Twitch, EA Sports has disclosed important information regarding the changes that will take place in the Division Rivals and in the FUT Champions Weekend League of Season 2 which will start from 11 November.
According to what was declared during the live broadcast, both the points and the qualifying tokens of the FUT Champions Weekend League obtained in Season 1 can also be used in Season 2.

EA has identified the issue that was impacting FUT Champions Play-Offs access and FUT Champions Finals access from FUT Season 1 not carrying over into FUT Season 2. Players logging into FUT Season 2 for the first time now should see this working as intended. Players who had FUT Champions Finals access remaining from FUT Season 1, and who had previously logged in but not had this carry over into FUT Season 2, you should see this carry over now if you log into FUT again. Players who had FUT Champions Play-Offs access still remaining from FUT Season 1, and who had previously logged in but not had this carry over into FUT Season 2, we are working to identify the impacted players and will be providing them with the appropriate access.

EA is investigating player reports of FUT Champions Qualification Points / Play-Off access not carrying over from FUT Season 1 to Season 2. Updates to come as they are available.

The same goes for the Play-Offs, if you have managed to qualify for the final phase of the FUT Champions Weekend League during Season 1, access to the final phase will also be guaranteed in the Season 2 competition. So if you haven’t finished the Paly-Offs when Season 1 ends, your progress will be reset. You’ll remain in the Paly-Offs, but you’ll have to replay all the matches. FUT Champions Qualification points e Finals Entry Tokens carry over from Season 1. Play-Off entries do not.
In Season 2, you will need 2.000 FUT Champions Qualification Points in order to enter the Play-offs.
Important information was also disclosed regarding relegation methods during the transition from Season 1 to Season 2 in Division Rivals.
- Qualification in Elite Division
- Relegated by 2 Divisions
- Qualification in Division 6 or Above
- Relegated by 2 Divisions
- Qualification in Division 7 or 8
- Relegated by 1 Divisions
- Qualification in Division 9 or 10
- No relegation
The checkpoints of divisions 5,6,7 and 9 will change, as will the seasonal rewards of the Division Rivals. On the other hand, the weekly rewards of the Division Rivals will not undergo any changes.
