EA Sports, through the Loading Screen, has announced when the Prime Icons will be available in the packs. The date to be marked on the calendar is Saturday 18th December at 6:00 pm.
The Icons Prime cards. probably, will replace the corresponding base version in the packs, this means that the base version of the Icon will no longer be available in the FUT 22 packs.
The Icons Prime cards have Overall and Stats that reflect a certain period of their career characterized by absolute level performances that have allowed the achievement of great goals.

It is not yet clear whether the Prime Icons will be released in Multiple Batches or in a single solution. In our opinion, it will be at least 2 different Batches. Stay tuned to stay updated on the situation.
