EA Sports, via social media, has announced that voting will begin on Monday 10 January to announce the 11 players of the Team Of The Year ( TOTY ) of the popular FIFA 22 Ultimate Team mode.
The EA SPORTS FIFA Team of the Year invites fans to “decree the best” by voting for their favourite players and form their ideal line-up from a list of 80 nominees who have had the best performances in world football during 2021. The “Team Of The Year” last year garnered over 10 million votes from fans who made it the definitive line-up of the eleven best in the world.

The candidate announcement program is as follows:
Friday 7 January 2022 at 17:00 CET – Candidate Attackers
Saturday 8 January 2022 at 17:00 CET – Candidate midfielders
Sunday 9 January 2022 at 17:00 CET – Candidate defenders and goalkeepers
The final Team of the Year will be announced 20 January, with special TOTY Player Items released into FIFA 22 Ultimate Team featuring some of the highest ratings of the season to celebrate each player’s status as the best in the world, as backed by you.
