EA Sports, through the Social Network, has announced that the FUT Champions Weekend League of the popular FIFA 22 Ultimate Team mode will end on September 28th.

With 40+ FUT Champions events behind us, we want to let you know the last FUT Champions event in FIFA 22 will begin on Friday, September 23rd. The FUT Champions Playoffs and Finals will both end on September 28th at 7 AM UTC. This means you won’t be able to play the FUT Champions mode in FIFA 22 after September 28th. You’ll still be able to enjoy all the other content in FIFA Ultimate Team.
In addition, there are a few noteworthy points for you to be aware of. The number of entries to Playoffs (from Rivals) will be reduced from 8 to 6, as we have two fewer Finals events in Season 9. The Season 9 Rivals and Season Progress will still run for the entire duration until October 13th. Players will still be able to receive their Champions Qualification Points in Rivals until they hit 1250 CQP cap. Players will only need 16 points instead of 20 points to qualify from Playoffs to Finals. Finally, we will be extending all remaining Finals events by 48 hours for Season 9.
With the launch of FIFA 23, we’ll be kicking off a brand new FUT Champions experience and we look forward to seeing you there.
