EA Sports has announced that it has renewed its partnership with the Premier League for several more years. This will allow them to retain the official license of the English Championship and the rights to all Premier League teams.
The top English championship will have the official license in EA Sports FC 24 and in future Games of the series. Below is the Official Statement.
The Premier League is delighted to announce a new multi-year partnership extension with EA SPORTS FC as a lead partner and official licensee.
EA SPORTS has been a lead partner of the Premier League since the 2016/17 season, while the licensing agreement with the League for its popular football video game series goes back to the 1998/99 campaign.
Last week, Manchester City striker and 2022/23 Golden Boot winner Erling Haaland was joined by Premier League executives at FC Club House in Amsterdam to unveil the new EA SPORTS FC™24 game, which will be released on 29 September.
This will see all 20 Premier League clubs – including every club, player, manager, stadium, kit and more – authentically represented in-game.

The partnership also includes a long-term commitment for the Premier League and EA SPORTS to work together on the creation of community programmes, including school football initiatives and investment into grassroots facilities, with the launch of EA SPORTS FC FUTURES.
Premier League Chief Executive Richard Masters said: “Through our long-term partnership, the Premier League and EA SPORTS have inspired generations of football fans and we look forward to developing this in the years to come.
“The new EA SPORTS FC 24 game is a significant evolution which we are proud to be a part of. Beyond this, we will continue to develop existing projects as well as introducing exciting new ones.

Earlier this year, the Premier League and EA SPORTS joined forces to provide funding for the Rocky and Wrighty Arena, a state-of-the-art 3G football pitch at Turnham Academy.
