Zlatan Ibrahimović will be the cover star of the Ultimate Edition of the new football simulator, EA Sports FC 26, the Canadian software house announced in an official statement released via social media.
The former Swedish national team striker will also receive a special Icon card for the popular Ultimate Team mode. Ibrahimović’s overall and official stats will be revealed as the series approaches its release date.
At the same time, it was also confirmed that the EA FC 26 reveal trailer will be unveiled at 5:00 PM GMT+1 on the official YouTube channel. This short video typically features CGI sequences that showcase some of the game’s most important new features, but we’ll have to wait a few more weeks to see actual gameplay in action.
In the coming days, EA Sports will also reveal the cover stars for the other editions and announce all the pre-order bonuses available for each version of EA FC 26. As a reminder, some of the players set to receive Icon cards in the official Ultimate Team mode roster were already revealed in recent days.
