A brand-new Deep Dive has revealed all the exciting updates coming to Clubs mode in the football simulator EA FC 26.
Among the many fresh features, one that truly stands out is the new Archetype progression system. Unlike previous editions, this time there will be 13 Archetypes, each one inspired by a legendary icon who helped shape the history of world football.
Each Archetype comes with its own distinct characteristics, offering a unique and personalised experience that gives players greater control over the development and evolution of their Pro.
The first Archetype will be available as soon as you enter Clubs mode, while the remaining 12 can be unlocked using Coins, FC Points, or consumable items. Every match you play will earn you experience points, which you can use to guide your Pro’s growth and progress. Keep in mind, each Archetype levels up independently, you’ll need to activate and play with each one to level them up.
At launch, every Archetype can be progressed from Level 1 to 50. Over the course of the season, the level cap will increase and new updates will be introduced, giving you even more opportunities to enhance and customise your favourite Archetypes.
Your Archetype Card in Clubs represents you and your personal style. It evolves as you progress, beginning with Bronze and increasing to Icon. Each card is unique, with highlighted essential features and changing backdrops. You can also customize your card by unlocking backdrops through the Seasonal Pass, completing tasks, or purchasing goods from the Club Store.
