The Cornerstones event for EA FC 26’s Ultimate Team mode has officially been announced. The special cards from this season’s very first promo will be available in packs for a limited time, starting at 6:00 pm on Friday, 26 September.

Alongside the announcement, Electronic Arts also shared some key details. This promo will highlight the players around whom squads are built: leaders both on and off the pitch, as well as young signings who have established themselves as essential to their clubs’ success.
Cornerstones cards will provide a permanent boost to overall rating and stats, while also granting a +2 chemistry bonus for their club, further strengthening their role in your Ultimate Team squad.
In addition, the studio unveiled the official card design for the promo, though they stopped short of revealing which players will receive this brand-new special item.
As is customary during promos, Cornerstones will also feature themed special cards released through SBCs and Objectives.
