Konami announced in an official statement that it has renewed its partnership with Barcelona and has the exclusive right to reproduce the virtual version of the Camp Nou.

Below is part of the press release released by the Japanese software house.

KONAMI and FC Barcelona have renewed their relationship with a new Global Partners agreement, which provides KONAMI with extensive access to the clubโ€™s stars and prominent visibility within the real-world match day experience. To underline this, KONAMI visited the team earlier this year and conducted a full body 3D scan every player.

The stunningly re-created Camp Nou, FC Barcelonaโ€™s storied home ground, also remains exclusive to the PES series โ€“ both console and mobile.
