The Closed Beta of EA Sports FC 25 is available to all those who have received an access code via email from Electronic Arts.
The Closed Beta for EA FC 25 runs from August 6, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. UTC, until August 27, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. UTC.
To play the closed beta of EA Sports FC 25, you must have one of the following gaming platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC (on Steam and EA app), Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch.
Within this version of Electronic Arts’ new football simulator, selected participants will have the exclusive opportunity to preview the popular Ultimate Team mode, Career mode, and Clubs mode.
Only those with access to the Closed Beta can participate in private forums by logging in with their EA Play account credentials.
It’s important to note that all game progress will be lost as it cannot be transferred to the final version of EA Sports FC 25.

How to join a closed beta
For most closed betas, you need to sign up for EA Playtesting and opt-in to email communication from EA for the opportunity to be selected.
Here’s how to check if you’ve opted in to emails from EA.
- Log in to your EA Account.
- Go to Account Settings.
- Select Email Preferences.
- Under Manage your email preferences, select the box to provide your consent. A check mark should appear.
- Select the Frequency of emails you’d like to receive from us.
- Under Preferred Games, select Add More to pick the games you want to hear about, then click Add to confirm your choices.
- Under Preferred Platforms, choose the platforms you want to hear about by selecting the boxes, then click Update to confirm your choices.
- Make sure to choose the platforms you play on. If you choose the wrong platform, you might get a beta code for a platform you don’t play on, meaning you won’t be able to join the beta test.
