The pre-download for the football simulator EA FC 26 is now live on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Anyone who has pre-ordered the digital version from the Microsoft Store can now start downloading the game ahead of its official release.

Players who purchased the Ultimate Edition will be able to unlock the full version of EA FC 26 at midnight between 18 and 19 September, while those who opted for the Standard Edition will need to wait until midnight between 25 and 26 September.
The pre-download size is 53.07 GB. Once installed, the game will only become playable after the final file is automatically downloaded on the dates listed above, depending on the edition purchased. From that moment, you’ll have full access to every mode available on EA FC 26 from day one, with no restrictions.
As for pre-downloads on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, neither the Canadian developer nor Sony have released any official details. In the meantime, we’ll keep following the situation closely and make sure to update you as soon as new information becomes available.
