The highly anticipated EA Sports FC 24 Team of the Year (TOTY) event has finally arrived, bringing an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation among virtual football enthusiasts. The TOTY is a pinnacle moment in FC’s calendar, where the world’s top-performing players are honored through enhanced special cards.
The TOTY event unfolds in various stages, providing players with numerous opportunities to participate and acquire cards of the best players of the year. The first phase involves the selection of candidates, with fans having the opportunity to vote for their favorite players through the official EA Sports website.
Subsequently, EA announces the Team of the Year, unveiling the special cards of the selected players. During this phase, these cards are available in packs for a limited period, offering players the chance to enhance their squads with stars like Messi, Haaland, and Mbappé. For the very first time, Women’s Football TOTY will also be featured.
To heighten the excitement, special events such as Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and objectives are organized, providing players with additional opportunities to obtain TOTY cards. The final phase of the event introduces special packs containing exclusively TOTY cards, creating an atmosphere of intense searching and trading on the transfer market.
As mentioned, the TOTY cards will be released gradually, starting with the Women’s Attackers TOTY. Subsequently, all other positions will follow, including Honourable Mentions and complete squads available in packs. Here is the complete schedule:
- TOTY Attackers Women and Men from 19th January to 21st January.
- TOTY Midfielders Women and Men from 21st January to 23rd January.
- TOTY Defenders & GK Women and Men from 23rd January to 25th January.
- Full TOTY Team Women and Men from 25th January to 2nd February.
