EA Sports, through social media, has issued an official statement regarding the black market of Prime Icon Moments and TOTY cards of the popular FIFA 21 Ultimate Team mode.
In the last few hours, testimonies have leaked from the web (arrived from the community and from an Italian youtuber) regarding the purchase with real currency of non-exchangeable card packs (Icon Prime Moments and TOTY) at exorbitant prices that could reach € 1,000.
Below is the full press release disclosed by the Canadian software house:
“We aware of allegations currently circulating within our community related to FIFA 21 Ultimate TEam items. A Thorough investigation is underway, and if we identify improper conduct, we will take swift action. We want to be clared – this type of behavior is unaccetable, and we in no way condone what is alleged to have happened here. We understand how this creates concern about unfair balance in the game and competition. We will update the community as we get more clarity on the situation.”
