FIFA 21: New Festival of FUTball event coming on June 11

EA Sports, via the FIFA 21 game menu, has released clues regarding a new event for the popular FUT mode arriving at 6pm on June 11th. There are no other clues in the leaked image, but considering that the Europeans will start on the same Friday, everything suggests that it will be an event dedicated to competition.

Just today we had anticipated that even if Konami had the rights of the European competition, EA Sports could still take advantage of the event with Objectives and themed cards.

Important Update

Confirmed that the event arriving on Friday will be the Festival of Futball.

The colors of the screens that we report at the bottom of the news are reminiscent of a promo already released a few years ago in FIFA 18, Path To Glory.

During the event in question 25 special dynamic cards were released of some players who were fighting to earn a call-up in their national team for the world cup which was then played in Russia. The cards are then updated based on the performance provided by the players during the 2017/2018 season.

In FIFA 18 Ultimate Team during the world event EA Sports also released a promo, Festival of FUTball, dedicated to FIFA World Cup 2018. Also on that occasion special cards were released but which unlike the promo described above were not dynamic and the The upgrade was determined by the performance provided during the matches of the most important football event.

At this point we need to understand how the event will be called. Could there be a new Path to Glory like in FIFA 18? Or a Festival of FUTball? Or an event that appears for the very first time in FUT?
