FIFA 22: Icons – Leaks and The probable new Heroes and Legends

We are now very close to the presentation of FIFA 22 during EA PLAY LIVE 2021 scheduled for Thursday at 1pm UK, and we wondered what the New Icons could be that could be added to the FIFA 22 Roster.

As every year, we expect four versions for each Icons: Baby, Mid, Prime and Prime Moments. This year the different versions have been released during the whole season at different times. This year the SBCs are back to get the Icons, as requested by the Community, but despite everything, the criticisms were not lacking. In fact, even if the Icons SBC are back, for the best and therefore more expensive Icons they were made available only in June, and even for some, EA have not yet been released. The Icon Swaps remained, albeit with some changes, and we believe that they will be back again next year as they are always very popular.

Some Leaks talk about the arrival in FIFA 22 of the new Heroes cards. These cards should be dedicated to some players of the past but linked to a particular period in a particular team. As happened this year with the special card dedicated to David Beckham at Real Madrid. For example Dudek at Liverpool, Joe Cole at Chelsea, etc. This would be confirmed by adding a “FUT Heroes Club” like “FUT icons Club” to the Database. We’ll see if this rumor is confirmed.

According to some well-informed insiders, however, the addition of these new Icons in FIFA 22 would be practically certain, of course we will not fail to update the list if there are new Leaks:

We have divided the new Icons that we could find in two different categories.

The first is the absolute NOVELTIES.

The second category is RETURNS. Here we have put some of the icons present in previous years but which for some reason have not been reconfirmed in FIFA 20:
