According to the indiscretion reported by Calcio e Finanza, EA Sports and Lega Serie A have signed an agreement that will make FIFA 22 Official Video Game Partner of the Italian top league.
At the moment neither EA Sports nor the Lega have released an official statement and the terms of the agreement have not been disclosed. If this rumor turns out to be true, new scenarios could open up for the content of the popular FUT mode.
During the next edition, the Canadian software house could release some special cards, as is already the case for the players of the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1. Based on the performance provided by the players of these leagues, each month the best who receive the POTM ( Player OF The Month ) special card. The same trophie could also be awarded to players who play in Serie A TIM.
The licensing issue is more complicated, Juventus, Roma, Lazio and Napoli ( starting from the 2022 season) have entered into exclusive agreements with Konami (software house producer of the PES series) and therefore FIFA fans will have to settle for generic logo and name .
