According to reports from various users, EA Sports is apparently distributing a Pick for FUT Fantasy Heroes to certain accounts. The reason behind this “gift” is still not clear, but it is likely not a mistake.
According to the in-game notice, EA Sports is providing this 1 of 3 FUT Fantasy Heroes Pick as compensation. “Thank you for your patience while the team worked through resolving a content issue that was impacting your account. We have granted you the correct content that can be claimed through the FUT Store.”
The compensation is said to be related to the Encore Pack released around 4 weeks ago, which provided a loan FUT Fantasy Heroes Pick without mentioning the loan in the description.
Official Update
EA Sports recently resolved an issue with the Encore pack description, this was updated to specify that the FUT Hero Player Pick Items were loan items. Players who purchased this pack before this update has received FUT Hero Player Pick Items.
This is definitely good news for those who purchased the Encore Pack, as they are finally receiving the rightful reward.
