Today, EA Sports released Title Update 12 for the FIFA 23 football simulator on the next-generation platforms PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Update May 11th at 8:30
Title Update 12.1 is now available for the PlayStation 5 version of FIFA 23 and addresses a stability issue that could previously occur when launching FIFA 23 while having more than 100 PlayStation friends.
Important update to resolve the issue
EA is investigating reports of some players experiencing stability issues when launching FIFA 23 on PlayStation 5 with TU 12. Workaround: Reduce your PS5 friends list to 100 or less friends and re-launch the game.
As reported by some PS5 owners, once the download of title update 12 is complete, it is not possible to play FIFA 23 as the console crashes.
The Canadian software company will likely release a new hotfix to resolve the issue and allow all owners of the football simulator to get back on the virtual green field as soon as possible.
