Netflix, in an official statement, has announced that, in collaboration with Delphi Interactive, they will exclusively develop the new FIFA football simulator.
The company stated that the videogame will be designed to offer an exciting and intuitive experience, allowing everyone to enjoy moments of pure relaxation and fun.
The statement also makes a clear reference to the FIFA World Cup 2026, emphasising that everyone who plays the FIFA football simulator will be able to relive the incredible emotions that only the world’s most prestigious tournament can deliver.
The game will be developed and published by Delphi Interactive and produced by Netflix Games. At present, no release date has been announced, and further details about the FIFA videogame will be revealed throughout 2026.
“The FIFA World Cup will be the cultural event of 2026, and now fans will be able to celebrate their passion by bringing the game straight into their living rooms,” said Alain Tascan, President of Netflix Games. “We want to bring football back to its roots, with something everyone can play at the simple touch of a button.”
FIFA President Gianni Infantino added: “FIFA is very excited to collaborate with Netflix Games and Delphi Interactive ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This important partnership represents a major milestone in FIFA’s commitment to innovation in football gaming, with the goal of reaching billions of fans of all ages worldwide and redefining the true essence of simulation games. Our reinvented game marks the beginning of a new era of digital football. It will be available for free to Netflix members and represents a historic step forward for FIFA.”
