Is Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook services not working? The services are down at the time of writing, 5:00 pm on Monday 4 October, with numerous users reporting server issues.
It does not often happen that the three social networks are down at the same time, but according to Downdetector data, there is an extensive issue that affects many countries including the UK. The outages began around 4:45 pm today, with hundreds of thousands of reports from users around the world.
The nature of the issue is not yet clear and at the moment it is not possible to know when Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram will come back online again.
