EA Sports announced the new cover of the FIFA 19 football simulator through an official statement.

A change that is unprecedented in the history of the series (Without considering the versions dedicated to the main competitions of world football).

This news could be due to the possible early termination of the contract between EA Sports and Cristiano Ronaldo that in recent months has faced some unfortunate accusations.
