The award was given in recognition of Grealish’s decisive impact in the matches played by Everton in the league during August.
Unlike what usually happens in these cases, however, Electronic Arts will not be releasing a special card for the popular Ultimate Team mode in EA FC 26. This is most likely because the new football simulator is set to launch on 26 September.
The POTM card is normally awarded through a voting system that selects the player who has stood out most for his performances in league fixtures during the month in question.
