Apparently, the launch of the highly anticipated Battlefield 6 hasn’t gone quite as everyone hoped. Just a few minutes ago, it was announced that a technical issue is preventing players from enjoying the shooter.

Specifically, the developers have confirmed that, due to a problem during the startup of Battlefield 6, an error message appears asking players to purchase a DLC or similar content.

This message effectively freezes the game on the main menu screen, preventing players from progressing and fully accessing all the game modes that Battlefield 6 has to offer.

Technicians are currently working to identify the cause of the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible, aiming to fully restore the service.

Stay tuned to our pages, as we will continue to follow this story and provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. The developers may also release a guide to bypass the issue, allowing players to continue playing until a full fix is implemented.

As a reminder, Battlefield 6 is set in the year 2027. The world teeters on the brink of chaos. Following the shocking assassination of a high-profile figure, major European countries have left NATO, while the United States and its allies face the resulting consequences.

Players will also encounter a range of intense, adrenaline-fuelled modes that form the backbone of any first-person shooter, including Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Conquest, and King of the Hill. Additionally, there’s a brand-new mode called Escalation, in which two teams battle over strategic control points.

Battlefield 6 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Be sure to follow us on our social media channels Facebook and Twitter, for more news.
