Play the Beta August 9 – August 21

If you got an email from us with your Beta code, redeem it so you can test FIFA 20 before the full game launches.

Remember:

  • Trying to give your code to a friend? Your Beta code was created just for you and it can’t be transferred or shared with another player.
  • Your Beta progress does not carry over to the full game.
  • The Beta is only available to players in the United States and the United Kingdom.
  • You need an online connection to play the FIFA 20 Beta. You’ll also need to have an active subscription to either Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation®Plus, depending which platform you’re playing on.

What about PC and Nintendo Switch?

There’s no Closed Beta for PC or Nintendo Switch this year. Stay tuned for more information about the free trial, coming later this year.

What’s in the Beta

These features are in the FIFA 20 Beta

We want to test certain things with the Beta, so you’ll only have access to specific game modes.

Everyone will have access to Kickoff, plus one additional mode from this list:

  • Career
  • FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT)
  • Pro Clubs
  • VOLTA FOOTBALL

You’ll find out which mode you get to try in the Beta in the email with your code.

Since this is a Beta test, our advisors won’t be able to help troubleshoot anything that might happen while you’re playing.

Tell us everything you come across that might be a bug or any problems you have on our FIFA 20 Closed Beta forums.

And as we mentioned above, our EA Advisors won’t be able to give you a code if you don’t get one.

FIFA 20 is available from September 27, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch. Keep on following us also through our social Facebook and Twitter for other news and information.
