There’s no Closed Beta for PC or Nintendo Switch this year. Stay tuned for more information about the free trial, coming later this year.

To get access to the Beta, we’ll email selected players their Beta codes.

Check that you get our emails

Want to know how to get invited to try the Beta? First, make sure you’ve opted in to get our emails. Go to your EA Account Email Preferences and check the first box.

If you’ve changed your email address or no longer have access to the one you used to create your account, swap emails from one account to another.

You can also add a secondary email address to your account. A secondary email helps you reset your password if you’re locked out of your EA Account and primary email address. You can find the Secondary Email section under the EA Account Security tab.

Can I get a few more FIFA 20 Beta details?

Because of limited space in the Closed Beta, not everyone that’s opted in will get an email with a code.

If you didn’t get an email with a code, our EA Advisors won’t be able to give you one.

Trying to give your code to a friend? Your Beta code was created just for you and it can’t be transferred or shared with another player.

The email

Selected FIFA players in the US and the UK who opted in to get EA emails will get a code sent to the email address that’s linked to their EA Account. You’ll be able to jump in and play from August 9-21, 2019, once you redeem your code.

The email will include a Closed Beta access code for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

The gameplay

The rules

You must be 18 years or older.
You’ll need to have an Internet connection and an EA Account to play. You’ll also need to accept the User Agreement and the FIFA 20 Beta Agreement.
Live streaming and image capturing of Closed Beta gameplay or forums is against our rules.

We send all Beta communication from EA@e.ea.com. Add this address as a safe sender to receive emails. Check your spam, junk, or social folder for any missed email messages from EA@e.ea.com.

With the Beta

Since this is a Beta test, our advisors won’t be able to help troubleshoot anything that might happen while you’re playing.

Tell us everything you come across that might be a bug or any problems you have on our FIFA 20 Closed Beta forums.

And as we mentioned above, our EA Advisors won’t be able to give you a code if you don’t get one.
