Leo Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo? Among the two big favorites, check Heung Min Son. On the next cover of FIFA 20 – one of the most famous and well-known video games in the world – there could be Tottenham’s talent, a great protagonist with three goals (one on the first leg and two on the way back) in the double comparison of the Champions League quarter-finals against Guardiola’s Manchester City which allowed the Pochettino team to get the pass to the competition’s semi-finals.
The clue – revealed by the Sun – comes from a survey proposed by FIFPro in which the fans of the video game created by Electronic Arts were asked to indicate the player they would like to see on the cover of the next edition of FIFA: Son got more preferences than all, slightly exceeding (204,000 against 202,691) Cristiano Ronaldo.
Among the survey participants there were also other top players like Neymar, Mbappé, Pogba, Messi and Salah. But the one who collected the most preferences of all was the South Korean Tottenham, renamed by many on the web as Son-aldo, given the great performance provided in the Champions League.
This does not mean that Son will surely be the cover man of FIFA 20, but the result of the FIFPro survey could still represent a market indication for EA, the company that develops the very famous video game.
