In the last hours, through the official website of Gamescom 2020, the list of software houses that will participate in the event has been made official and will be broadcast, for this edition, with a live stream starting from 27 August.
The first live scheduled will start at 7:00 pm 27 August ( UK time ) and will be broadcast from a Los Angeles studio without an audience, following the very strict rules of distancing for the COVID-19 emergency.
Electronic Arts also appears in the list of software houses, which will certainly make content available for the highly anticipated FIFA 21 too. The Opening Night Live event will be a great showcase, given the current world situation, and EA Sports could unveil to the world a preview of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version of the new football simulator. Probably the news for the Next Gen will mainly concern the graphics component that will be optimized by making the most of the power of the new consoles.
The presenter of the Opening Night Live, Geoff Keighley, from his twitter account announced that there are 38 games in the schedule and world premieres are also planned.
We just have to wait until August 27 to find out what content Electronic Arts will reveal during Gamescom 2020.
