With the imminent presentation of FIFA 21 during EA PLAY LIVE 2020 scheduled for Thursday at midnight UK, we wondered what the new Icons could be included in the Roster of the new Fifa Ultimate Team (FUT) mode.

For 2 years now, each Icon has 4 versions: Baby, Mid, Prime and Prime Moments. This year the different versions have been released during the whole season at different times. No specific Player SBCs have been released, but the only way to obtain a certain Icon was either to unpack it or to complete certain seasonal objectives and to redeem the available icon of our interest with the Icon Swaps.

FIFA 21: 100 Icon Official Roster Unveiled – Eto’o, Torres, Lahm, Puskas and Vidic Confirmed

At first the community showed great enthusiasm for this novelty, but the high number of games and the complicated objectives to be completed made the initial evaluations radically change. In fact gamers who habitually played in the higher divisions voluntarily retreated up to the 5th-6th division to complete the objectives that allowed to redeem the available Icons, this created a huge imbalance in the Division Rivals creating not a few bad feelings in the community.

At the showdown, almost everyone was disappointed by the total lack of dedicated SBCs to unlock the different Icons individually. Who knows if EA Sports will decide to listen the players and go back.

We have divided the new Icons that we could find in two different categories.

The first is the absolute NOVELTIES.
