FIFA 21: Official Statement EA Sports “Is an attempt to engage FIFA in a dispute between a series of third parties”

EA Sports, after the doubts expressed by the attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has released an official statement that apparently did not convince Mino Raiola.

The agent of the Swedish, through the social twitter, declared that neither FIFPRO nor AC Milan have the image rights of the players and continued arguing that EA Sports is certainly aware of this.

FifPro and AC Milan do not have players individual rights as I’m sure you know and as we’ve told you many times”.

This morning, in the editorial office via email, we received an official statement released by EA SPORTS which, unequivocally, confirms that they have the rights to include the faces of all the players currently present in the game.

Below is the official communication from EA Sports:

“Regarding the recent discussions on player licensing in EA SPORTS FIFA, what is happening on social media is an attempt to engage FIFA 21 in a dispute between a series of third parties that has little to do with EA SPORTS.
To be extremely clear, we have the contractual rights to include the faces of all players currently in our game. As stated above, we acquire these licenses directly from leagues, teams and individual players. Additionally, we work with FIFPro to make sure we can include as many players as possible to create the most authentic football game.
In specific cases, our player faces rights are granted through our agreement with AC Milan and our long-standing exclusive partnership with the Premier League, which includes all Tottenham Hotspur players. “

FIFA 21 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and in December 4th for the Next Gen PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X platforms Keep on following us also through our social Facebook and Twitter for other news and information.
