On April 8th Electronic Arts published a recruitment request addressed to engineers with programming experience to expand the development team of the FIFA series.
In the disclosed documentation, in addition to referring to the popular FIFA Ultimate Team mode, an Online Career Mode is also mentioned for the first time.
Considering what the current state of development of FIFA 22 should be, at the moment we cannot say that this absolute novelty will be available immediately, the timing suggests that an Online Career mode will only be available starting from FIFA 23.
Our hypotheses are obviously possible to be denied. EA Sports may have already developed this new mode and therefore wanted to expand the team to introduce it immediately. Considering that in the published question no specific reference is made to gaming platforms, the hypothesis that it can only be introduced on Next-Gen consoles cannot be ruled out.
At the moment we can not help but wait for official communications that could already arrive during the EA Play Live scheduled for next 22 July. Stay tuned to our pages, we will not fail to update you on the matter.
