It is no secret that FIFA 23 will almost certainly be the first title in the series to present one of the most requested features by users, namely Cross-Play. For gamers who do not know what it is, we will briefly explain what it consists of: This technology gives the possibility to play online Players who are on different gaming platforms; for example Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
So far it would be normal, but news has leaked from the well-known Insider FUT Sheriff, who anticipated that the Cross-play Feature should begin testing already on FIFA 22. Well yes, EA Sports intends to try this new feature already in the current chapter to make sure it is ready next year.
FUT Sheriff has speculated that Cross-Play should not be present in FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team) for the moment, probably due to the not yet shared card market. A new ad hoc mode should therefore be released to make sure that users of different platforms can play with each other.
We will see if Cross-Play will actually be released on trial as early as FIFA 22. However, we believe it is a good thing to start testing this new feature now.
