Sports Interactive and the EFL have announced in a joint statement that they have renewed their partnership with a new multi-year deal.

โ€œAhead of the release of Football Manager 26 on 4 November, we are delighted to announce the extension of our long-standing partnership with the English Football League (EFL),โ€ the UK-based developer said in a brief statement.

As part of the continuation of the partnership, all 72 EFL clubs and the leagueโ€™s five competitions will be fully licensed in FM 26. This implies that in the updated version of the football management simulation, each team will have its official names, logos, and kits.

The EFL set a record in 2024โ€“2025 when more than 209,000 spectators turned out to Wembley Stadium for the play-off finals. More live matches than ever before were broadcast during the first season of the leagueโ€™s ground-breaking broadcasting agreement with Sky Sports.

The contract extension will see Football Manager and the EFL working together to develop new engaging initiatives and exciting content, bringing fans even closer to the thrills they experience both at the stadium and on TV.

Before we wrap up, itโ€™s worth noting that the studio has also released a video showcasing the innovative new Match Day experience, along with fresh gameplay footage from Football Manager 26.

Football Manager 26 is expected in October on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Steam, and Nintendo Switch. Follow us on our social media channels Facebook and Twitter, for more news.
